About Us:
McPhie Cabinetry is a kitchen and bathroom design firm that
has been located in Bozeman, MT since 1977. The owners,
Scott and Kristie McPhie, and the staff as a whole are
committed to design excellence in order to complement and
enhance your lifestyle. We appreciate spaces that nurture
the family. It is the quality of the memories you make in
your home, not the “material” selections, that create your
interior spaces.
Scott McPhie
Owner, Manager
Scott, a
Salt Lake City, UT native has a background in construction
and business. Currently, he provides McPhie Cabinetry with
cabinet installation services and helps to oversee the
general running of the business. He is a certified Aga
installer and travels throughout the mountain states
installing and maintaining the Aga Cookers. Scott also
enjoys time with his family and his horses. Scott, along
with his wife Kristie who is a native of Bozeman and West
Yellowstone, have raised three children in Montana's
mountains while creating numerous award winning and
published projects throughout their years in business
together. They are very proud of their talented and skilled
staff and of the reputation that has been built through
superior quality design and the creation of projects that
stand the test of time.

Kristie Eagle McPhie, CKD
Owner, Designer
Since graduating with a degree in art with a design option
from Montana State University- Bozeman in 1974, Kristie has
been pursuing her passion helping people discover and create
living spaces that serve their needs and visions. Kristie,
who achieved her Certified Kitchen Designer certification
through the National Kitchen and Bath Association in 1987,
continues to enjoy learning through continuous involvement
with the NKBA, both regionally and nationally. After Kristie
and Scott helped to found the Big Sky chapter of the NKBA,
Kristie served in most regional offices as chapter
representative, on the National Board of Directors and the
Member Standards Committee. Local community service
endeavors have revolved around skiing, serving on the board
of the Bridger Ski Foundation and the Bridger Bowl Board.
She is also enjoying serving on the board for the MSU
Interior Design program.

Heather McPhie
Bookkeeping
Although Heather started helping out at her family's cabinet
showroom when she was very young, her official position with
the company began in 2000. She loves numbers and takes pride
in her work. Heather loves the fact that she gets to keep in
touch with her family while pursuing her skiing career with
the US Freestyle Ski Team as well as a degree in business
management at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT. One
of her more interesting payroll locations was from the
Olympic Village after competing in Vancouver BC, 2010.
Amy Winterrowd, AKBD
Designer
After achieving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior
Design from Northern Arizona University, Amy, raised in West
Yellowstone, returned to Montana to pursue a career in
design. She joined McPhie Cabinetry in 2005 and obtained her
AKBD design certification through the NKBA in 2007. With
passion for design and attention to detail, Amy strives to
create spaces that address client needs aesthetically,
functionally, and efficiently. She greatly enjoys the
process from planning to installation and above all, the
relationships created with the clients.

Janelle Huseby
Design Assistant
Janelle has had a life long interest in building and
remodeling. During her studies in college she decided to
pursue Interior Design as a career path because it allows
her to combine artistic creativity, technical design, and
problem solving to create an end product that is both
functional and aesthetically pleasing. In addition to her
Bachelor's
Degree in Interior Design from Central Washington
University, Janelle brings several years of experience and
expertise in tile and plumbing. She has also served as the
Technology and Communications VP for the Big Sky.

Tom Brutger
Installer
A native of St. Cloud, MN Tom grew up in a construction
family and went to college to acquire a
degree in banking. After practicing his trade for several
years, Tom was drawn to carpentry. After relocating to
Bozeman, Tom joined the McPhie Cabinetry team in 1993 where
he has been an integral member ever since. Extensive
knowledge of cabinetry lines, an eye for detail and
expertise in installation techniques are just a few of Tom’s
strong points. Tom is married with 2 children and a
granddaughter and is an avid outdoorsman and gardener.
Kevin Miller
Installer
As
a Montana native who joined the McPhie Cabinetry crew in
1996, Kevin has been a talented addition. Performing field
installations with an attention to the aesthetic, the
function and the safety considerations of a project, he has
a great eye for design and vast familiarity regarding the
lines we represent. He is a charismatic efficient craftsman
and is a joy to have as a part of the team. Kevin, along
with his wife and two girls, enjoys the Montana lifestyle
and is involved in many outdoor pursuits including a love of
boating.
Phillip Viveiros
Office Support
With McPhie Cabinetry since 2007, Phil has been the all
around go-to guy. From taking out the garbage to cabinet
installation, he is an invaluable team member. His
appreciates the fact that everyday offers something
different for him and says that he couldn’t have asked for a
better group of people to work with, which makes for an
enjoyable work environment. He is currently a full-time
student at Montana State University- Bozeman pursuing a
degree in Mechanical Engineering.
